KAIR Košice Artist in Residence

KAIR Košice Artist in Residence provides 2 residency studios in the heart of Košice, on the first floor of Vitézov yard on Hlavná street 40. Both studios contain proper light and furniture equipment, and it is possible to be adjusted according to the artist needs. Each studio has its own entrance, so artists have enough privacy and can peacefully work. KAIR shares the space together with Šopa Gallery, that's why during the season, the artist can also enjoy the program of the gallery. In the residency space, you will find small kitchen space, bathroom (without shower). Toilets are located on the outside passage and are lockable.

The residency flat is located in a walking distance from the center and (if necessary) it is possible to rent a bike. All the necessary services and civic amenities are located nearby. The flat is on the 4th floor of the apartment building without the elevator. In this three-room apartment are two bedrooms, a shared living room, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. Residents are welcomed to take kids, no pets are allowed.

Due to the absence of a lift where the studios and also residency flat is located (Vitezov Yard and apartment building), residencies are not suitable for physically disabled people.
