The WBB Orchestra (Wrocław, Bydgoszcz, Brno) brought together young students from three prestigious music academies (Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, and Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno).
This Polish-Czech student baroque orchestra revived works by 17th and 18th-century Polish and Czech composers, performing three concerts in front of great audience in Bydgoszcz in January and Brno in April 2025.
The ensemble revived baroque masterpieces through joint rehearsals and concerts, performing on historical instruments in authentic period style. Playing on historical instruments—including baroque violins and cellos, traverso flutes, and harpsichord—the musicians mastered both technical precision and authentic baroque performance style.
The project offered young artists a valuable opportunity for international collaboration, professional exchange, and future career development in early music. The connections created through such projects frequently develop into long-term artistic partnerships.
