Conditions

Visual and Sound Artist Residencies are open to artists working in the following disciplines: Visual Arts (including performance art, textile art and architecture), Design (fashion, costume, jewelry, ceramics and furniture design, visual communication), Music/Sound (interpretation, sound installation, sound performance, composition) and Video/Film/New Media/Mixed Media (including video installation).

• The residency must be implemented in a V4 country, other than that of the applicant’s citizenship/residence
• The period of support is 2 months
• Residencies can take place between January 10 to December 31
• Reapplying of previously supported artists is possible only for a residency in a V4 country different that of the previous residency project
• The amount of the support is €3,000 for resident and €3,000 for the host organization for the two months of the residency; each res­i­dency project receives €6,000 in total.

Reporting

The Final Report in the form of a questionnaire is  to be submitted by the artist and the host institution no later than 30 days after the end of the residency. To ensure the timely disbursement of the final installment, residents are kindly requested to complete the questionnaire within 30 days after the conclusion of their residency. The questionnaire is completed in the My Visegrad system.

Additionally, residents are required to upload images captured during their residency and provide web links to any related posts. 

The host organization is responsible for completing, printing, and signing a separate questionnaire. Following this, residents are kindly requested to upload the completed questionnaire from the host organization (pdf file) as part of their Final Report through My Visegrad system and submit the entire report.
